A small amount of product is applied to a discreet area, typically behind the ear or on the inner arm, and monitored for any signs of irritation over the next 4 days.

If you've had previous treatments without issue, you may be able to sign a patch test disclaimer instead. However, if you have any concerns or are unsure how your skin might react, a patch test is highly recommended.
